Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer leads efforts to directly support the government with subject matter expertise on the integration efforts between the DCGS Enterprise, the National Systems for Geospatial-Intelligence, and Coalition Enterprises in order to advance US-Coalition information sharing capabilities. Systems Engineer will assist the government through the execution of testing consistent with NGA practices but tailored to support the unique integration needs of Coalition partners.

• Coordinate and build relationships with members of the national and international community to understand requirements, facilitate discussions, and help shape coalition information sharing activities and architectures.
• Coordinate with FVEYs partners, NATO HQ, NGA international office, USD(I&S), DCGS Services, Joint Staff, and other offices/organizations necessary to ensure information is being shared, Mission Needs understood, and projects coordinated.
• Ensure coalition participation in US limited objective events and other events are being considered, coalition exercise objectives are represented in the events, and assist in resolving any issues.
• Facilitate the resolution of policy issues prohibiting US disclosure and release.
• Creating, maintaining, and update test procedures.
• Conduct acceptance testing on site with Coalition partners.
• Report results of tests to include recommending whether test was satisfactorily completed, except when that function is normally performed by another government activity.
• Direct the validation of Coalition interface operability and satisfaction of integrated inter-system requirements.
• Develop test schedules, objectives, plans, checklists, and test reports as necessary.
• Initiate and lead formal and informal process improvement efforts to engineer new test processes in support of advanced and future capabilities as well as innovations to the overall Agency-level systems engineering process. 

Required:

• In compliance with Executive Order 14042, InTec requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 11/24/21, unless that person has requested and InTec has granted a medical or religious exemption during the onboarding process.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline.
• Senior-level experience with IT SE&I, architecture, analysis, capabilities implementation, and process.
• Demonstrated experience applying Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) processes.
• Demonstrated experience with the U.S. and Coalition partner tactical ISR requirements management and collection management processes and systems.
• Demonstrated experience with DCGS, DCGS Integration Backbone (DIB), Distributed Data Framework (DDF), Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES), and the Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E).
• Demonstrated experience with cross-domain file transfer solutions.
• Demonstrated System & Operations Analysis experience.

Desired:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related scientific or technical discipline.
• Demonstrated SE&I experience working with NSG/NGA or Mission Partner systems/segments.
• Senior-level Tactical ISR TCPED SLC (FMV, WAPS/WAS, MTI, ABI, SOM exploitation) experience.
• NSG Expeditionary Architecture, ISR Task Force, manned/unmanned ISR operations experience.
• Demonstrated experience with GEOINT data disclosure and release policies.
• Demonstrated Project Management / Team Leadership experience.
